Lead
Fliki, Synthesia, and HeyGen each publish a product that turns a script, prompt, or file into a video with AI voices or avatars. You can start without a full production crew. This article lines up public prices, free tiers, avatars, languages, and the audiences named on each official site. Marketing, explainers, social clips, and training or hiring videos are examples those sites list. The title order is not a ranking.
The reading order is Fliki, then Synthesia, then HeyGen. Fliki’s script, blog, PPT, and ChatGPT-to-video path comes first because the steps are published and a free tier exists. That is not a quality verdict. Synthesia’s public pages lead with business training and internal communication, and with SCORM on Enterprise. HeyGen’s public pages lead with realistic avatars and translation into 175+ languages.
On the public prices read on 2026-11-06 (Fri), Fliki’s paid entry is $28 per user per month, Synthesia Starter is $19 per month (a first-month promo was also shown), and HeyGen Creator is $29 per month. The tables below have the detail. Open each pricing page before you subscribe.

What each tool does
Fliki
Fliki’s homepage describes a video with AI voice, visuals, captions, and music made from an idea, a script, a blog, or a PowerPoint. It includes Text to Video, Blog to Video, PPT to Video, Avatar and Digital Twin, translation and dubbing, and AI images and clips. The home FAQ names 80+ languages and lists Japanese as an example. Source: https://fliki.ai/ (read 2026-11-06 (Fri)).
The ChatGPT video feature page says a pasted ChatGPT script is split into scenes and exported with voice, visuals, captions, and music. It also describes a videoGPT connection (a ChatGPT custom GPT), avatars, and 80+ languages. Turning an SOP or a training document into a video is one example listed there. Source: https://fliki.ai/features/chatgpt-video-generator (read 2026-11-06 (Fri)). Buttons in this article open Fliki’s homepage, not that feature URL.
Synthesia
Synthesia presents AI video and avatars for business. Public pages describe a video from a prompt, a document, a PowerPoint, or a URL, translation and dubbing into 140+ languages, a Brand Kit, sharing by link or embed, and SCORM. Interactive Avatars are described for roleplay and surveys. An API is listed. Example uses are training, onboarding, product education, sales enablement, and internal updates. The docs list Japanese (Plain) JA-PL and Japanese (Polite) JA-PO. Source: https://docs.synthesia.io/docs/supported-languages (read 2026-11-06 (Fri)). A Japanese voice page is at https://www.synthesia.io/features/ai-voice-generator/japanese . Whether the app UI is in Japanese is unconfirmed.
HeyGen
HeyGen describes AI avatar video, Text to Video, Image to Video, Audio to Video, PPT or PDF to video, Video Agent, translation and lip-sync in 175+ languages, and voice cloning. Example uses are explainers, marketing, training and onboarding, and social. Business and above list SCORM, LMS, and a team workspace. Sources: https://www.heygen.com/ and https://www.heygen.com/pricing (read 2026-11-06 (Fri)).

The translation help list includes Japanese (Japan). Source: https://help.heygen.com/en/articles/11391941-video-translation-languages-we-support (read 2026-11-06 (Fri)). A Japanese TTS page is at https://www.heygen.com/text-to-speech/japanese . Whether the app UI is in Japanese is unconfirmed. This article does not say whether burned-in on-screen text is translated, because that help text was not fully re-read.
Pricing
Figures below are public USD prices read on 2026-11-06 (Fri). A yearly “per month” amount is the displayed annual price divided by 12. Tax inclusion is unconfirmed. Treat Synthesia’s first-month prices as promos shown on the page. Fliki’s pricing page did not show dollar amounts in the first static HTML fetch. The same-day official front-end script listed billing prices of 28 and 88 and a yearly discount of 25, and the feature page says “$28/month”. That is the basis for the Fliki prices here. Open the live pricing page before you pay.
Fliki pricing
Plan | Monthly | Yearly display | What the page lists |
|---|---|---|---|
Free | $0 | — | 3 credits/month, 720p, watermark, no card. Commercial rights are on paid plans. |
Standard | $28 per user | $21/month, $252/year (25% off) | 180 credits/month, 1080p, up to about 15 minutes, voice cloning, limited stock avatars, commercial rights. |
Premium | $88 per user | $66/month, $792/year | 600 credits/month, up to about 40 minutes, AI clips, photo avatars, all avatars. |
Enterprise | Custom | Custom (shown as yearly) | Custom pricing. The amount is unconfirmed. |
The pricing FAQ and the pricing table do not use one duration. They mention figures such as 5 minutes a month, and about 40 or 30 minutes. The feature page also refers to about 3 minutes a month and says the watermark comes off from $28/month. Credits are spent when you generate or regenerate. Check the rule for your plan before you subscribe. Sources: https://fliki.ai/pricing and the ChatGPT video feature page (read 2026-11-06 (Fri)).
Synthesia pricing
Plan | Monthly | Yearly display | What the page lists |
|---|---|---|---|
Basic | $0/month | — | 500 credits, watermark. The free allowance includes about 10 minutes of Studio. |
Starter | $19/month ($9 first-month promo also shown) | $14/month, $168/year | Credit tiers are on the pricing page. |

Enterprise | Custom | Custom | Unlimited videos, SCORM, 1-Click Translations in 140+ languages. |
The $9 and $49 figures in the monthly column are first-month promos shown on the page, not the ongoing monthly price. Credits follow generated avatar video, not the finished runtime. A stated guide is about 100 credits per minute. Monthly credits do not roll over. Personal Avatar requires a consent recording. Syren is described with a cap of about 3 minutes. Pricing and avatar FAQs say Starter and Pro include fewer avatars than Enterprise. Yen prices were not confirmed on the USD pricing page read for this article. HeyGen pricing

Business | $149/month + $20/seat | Not confirmed in this check | 1,500 credits, up to 60 minutes, SCORM, SSO. |
Enterprise | Contact sales | Contact sales | Contact sales. |
Credit use changes with the model, the length, and the complexity. Unused credits on a monthly plan roll over for one month and do not remain after you cancel. A custom avatar requires that person to pass an on-camera check. Source: https://www.heygen.com/pricing (read 2026-11-06 (Fri)).
How to try (as the official pages describe it)
These are the starting points the official pages describe. They are not steps we clicked through. The order follows whichever free tier matches a draft you already have. It is not a quality ranking.
- Fliki: Paste a script, or start from a blog or a PowerPoint. The ChatGPT video page says a pasted ChatGPT script is split into scenes and exported with voice, visuals, captions, and music. The free plan is $0, with 3 credits a month, 720p, and a watermark. A longer walkthrough is in the TOOLPORT Fliki guide.
- Synthesia: The AI video pages describe starting from a prompt, or from a document, a PowerPoint, or a URL. Syren is the path that builds a script, scenes, voice, and music from instructions or files, with a published cap of about 3 minutes. The free plan is Basic.
- HeyGen: The site describes Text to Video, Image to Video, Audio to Video, PPT or PDF to video, and Video Agent. The free plan is 3 videos a month, up to 1 minute each, with a watermark.
The three paths above paraphrase official pages read on 2026-11-06 (Fri). They are not a test of on-screen button names.
Who the official pages speak to
These are the people and jobs each site names. They are not a score. This article does not guess who should avoid a product. The second bullet under each name is only a limit the official pages state.
Fliki
- Who the site addresses: someone who already has an idea, a script, a blog, a PowerPoint, or a ChatGPT draft and wants a video with AI voice, visuals, captions, and music. A training document or an SOP is one example the site lists, alongside marketing and other explainers.
- Limit the pages state: the free plan has a watermark, 720p, and 3 credits a month, and commercial rights are on paid plans. Generating again spends credits. SCORM was not confirmed on the pricing cards checked on 2026-11-06 (Fri). Japanese admin UI is unconfirmed.
Synthesia
- Who the site addresses: business teams making training, onboarding, product education, sales enablement, and internal updates, including translation at scale. The Enterprise comparison lists SCORM.
- Limit the pages state: credits follow generated avatar video, about 100 credits per minute, and the monthly allowance does not roll over. Personal Avatar requires a consent recording. Syren is about 3 minutes. FAQs say Starter and Pro include fewer avatars than Enterprise.
HeyGen
- Who the site addresses: people making explainer, marketing, training, onboarding, and social videos with a realistic avatar, and teams localizing into many languages. Business and above list SCORM, LMS, and a shared workspace.
- Limit the pages state: the free plan is 3 watermarked videos a month, up to 1 minute each. Credit cost varies. Rollover lasts one month and ends if you cancel. A custom avatar requires on-camera verification of that person.
How they differ
Read the differences as axes. They are not first, second, and third.
Script and voice: Fliki’s public pages center on turning a script, blog, PPT, or ChatGPT text into a video with AI voice, visuals, captions, and music. They name 80+ languages.
Company learning systems: Synthesia’s public pages center on avatar video for company communication. They list a Brand Kit, interactive avatars, an API, and SCORM on Enterprise. They name 140+ languages.
Avatars and localization: HeyGen’s public pages center on realistic avatars, Video Agent, and lip-sync translation in 175+ languages. SCORM is on Business and above.
Entry price: among ongoing public monthly prices on 2026-11-06 (Fri), the paid entry was Synthesia Starter at $19/month, Fliki Standard at $28 per user per month, and HeyGen Creator at $29/month. Yearly displays were $14, $21, and $24 per month. Synthesia also showed first-month promos of $9 and $49. A lower number is not a recommendation. Credits are not the same unit on the three products.
Caveats
- All three have a free plan, and that free plan includes a watermark.
- Fliki describes commercial rights on paid plans. The free plan is not described as including them.
- Each product defines credits differently. Do not treat Fliki’s 180 credits, Synthesia’s 500 credits, and HeyGen’s 600 credits as the same amount of video.
- Synthesia says monthly credits do not roll over. HeyGen says unused credits roll over for one month and do not remain after you cancel. Fliki says generation and regeneration spend credits.
- Synthesia Personal Avatar requires a consent recording. A HeyGen custom avatar requires on-camera verification of that person.
- Fliki’s FAQ and pricing table do not state one consistent duration. Check before you subscribe.
- Synthesia’s first-month $9 and $49 are promo prices shown on the page. Do not mix them with the ongoing $19 and $89 monthly prices.
- Japanese for voice or translation is on the official pages of all three. Japanese app UI is unconfirmed for all three.
- This article has no hands-on quality comparison. Fliki and Synthesia buttons include a TOOLPORT referral code (via). HeyGen links do not. The code does not change the public prices cited here. The link to the Fliki guide stays on this site and has no referral code.
